This class features easy-to-follow moves in interval training sessions with the fast and slow rhythms, stretching, and most importantly FUN! This full dance fitness workout is based on the hottest pop and dance music. Dance experience is not necessary! Just come and follow along for a fun, ultimate fat-burning workout! Designed for all fitness levels; low impact instructions are presented.
Come relax with our beginner friendly Hatha/Vinyasa flow. You will learn the fundamentals of basic yoga postures with emphasis on breath and alignment so that you may enter and exit poses safely. Modifications of poses are offered, as well as deeper variations for the students who are ready to deepen their practice.
Kim has been practicing since 2003 with a 200 hour certification in Hatha/Vinyasa. She is currently under apprenticeship for traditional Ashtanga yoga with Krista Shirley.
As a student of Yoga flow, you will enjoy increased strength and flexibility with Yoga Flow. Movement with breathing is the primary aspect of this class, allowing for an energizing and focused class. This class offers fundamental and beginner postures and traditions, with a mix of adjustments for any experience level of yoga practitioner.
This class is focused on providing students with complete body restoration as well as flexibility throughout. Using asanas of Yin derivative along with fundamental asana, we can open up the body and mind, allowing for increased focus, relaxation and overall health.
Ashtanga Yoga is physically and mentally stabilizing practice. This class helps build strength, balance as well as increase oxygen flow and promotes relaxation. During this class, students will be using breathing and movement to transition from one posture to the next. There will be more intermediate postures along with more movement than a traditional yoga flow class.
Sandra a well know Zumba instructor with over 5 years’ experience in the Daytona Beach area. Come and be lead through a wide variety of dance routines that will encourage and inspire you to get silly and come into a new comfort zone. Classes focus on filling every participant with love, joy, and peace; We are a happy family! Each class is designed to help you burn calories and work up a sweat, all while feeling like you’re at a fun party!
This class focuses on leaning out and strengthening your core muscles. Lead by a certified personal trainer, members will be guided through a variety of moves and stretches designed to build and strengthen your abs while burning off that pesky belly fat. Variations are provided for all fitness levels from beginner to gym veteran. Come burn that belly with great music!
Come in a get into your optimum fat burning zone with a challenging cardio-based class. We bring down the lights and play a wide variety of music to allow all participants to get into their “happy place.” Bikes have their own resistance settings allowing everyone from a first time participant to a seasoned rider to clip in and turn up the tension. Come in a ride with us, leaving sweat, fat, and stress behind!
Come join our amazing group of active seniors for a fun and challenging class! We offer a variety of exercises ranging from movement based, coordination, and strength workouts. All fitness levels are welcome as our experienced and certified instructors will have students staying fit in a fun and friendly environment. Variations are available for all exercises for those with limitations, so come and join in on a Great time with our Silver Classes!
Looking for a way to get out of your workout rut? Greater Fitness is proud to offer a fun, new class involving both cardio and circuit training! Come join our motivated instructor, Kandi, as she leads you through a workout experience involving cardio on our spin bikes and full body circuits. Classes are broken up into 8-10 minute segments where members will transition from the bike, to training their muscles. Come experience a new type of training and challenge yourself to reach new goals. Bike tension is set by the member and variations will be provided to allow anyone from a first timer to a circuit champion to get Great workout in this class.
